A woman was repeatedly run over by a car outside of the Central Islip courthouse Monday morning, according to reports.
Suffolk County police confirmed that a call for a pedestrian struck at the courthouse came in at 9:43 a.m. Officials said that there are two suspects in custody.
The victim survived the attack and was taken to a local hospital.
According to multiple news reports, eyewitnesses say that the woman was run over three times by her estranged husband and his new girlfriend. CBS News reported that witnesses said the man and woman took turns driving and that the victim was under the car screaming.
