Nassau County police are looking for four suspects, at least one of whom was armed with a handgun, who held up two teenagers during a home invasion in Baldwin on Wednesday afternoon.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were at their Brooklyn Avenue home when the man answered a knock at the door to find a robber armed with a black handgun at 1 p.m., police said.

The gunman entered the home and ordered the victims to lie on the floor in the kitchen as three other assailants entered the house, police said.

The group ransacked a bedroom where they stole cell phones, cash, X-Box video game system and a jewelry box containing assorted jewelry.

The thieves then fled the scene. There was description of the suspects. The victims were not injured.

First Squad detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
