A man was shot dead in New Cassel on Sunday afternoon, Nassau County police said.
The victim was gunned down at about 3:30 p.m. on State Street, according to a police spokesman.
The victim’s identity was not immediately available. There were neither any arrests nor description of the shooter.
Homicide Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
