The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District has announced that 16 POB-JFK High School students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation as Commended Students in the 2013-14 competition.
POBJFK students Nicolette Almer, Mustafa Ansari, Reva Butensky, Trisha Chabria, Benjamin Chasan, Brian Coakley, Corey Cohen, Ryan Gillman, Amanda Hedgecock, Ashley Hilfman, Henry Levine, Isabel Ren, Alexander Resnick, Vincent Song, Hannah Stewart and Alma Wang were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation for their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying (PSAT/NMSQT) Exam.
