jsFrom the same organization who brought the all-inclusive playground to Eisenhower Park, Let All The Children Play (LATCP) of Jericho will host an all-inclusive sports clinic at Hofstra University on Feb. 8. 

Hofstra’s student-athletes will coach baseball, softball, and soccer to all children and young adults with and without disabilities.

The event registration will begin at 3 p.m. at The Fitness Center on Hofstra’s campus, 235 Hofstra University Drive, and is free to all who wish to participate.

Due to NCAA regulations, not all high school-aged students (grades 9-12) are eligible to participate. For information on registering for this special event, please contact Shea at SheaS@latcp.org or call 516-597-4937, ext. 1091.

The sports clinics will run until 6 p.m., with a light dinner provided before heading over to the Hofstra Pride men’s basketball game. LATCP clinic participants and their families will receive complimentary tickets to the game, beginning at 7 p.m.

LATCP will also hold a fundraising event at Governor’s Comedy Club at 90 Division Ave. in Levittown on Jan. 23. Doors open at 6 p.m. Guests must arrive by 7 p.m.

Audience guests must be 18 or older and a two-beverage minimum is required. Visit www.govs.com for information.

The LATCP playground is located near parking field 4 in Eisenhower Park. Let All The Children Play (LATCP) is a recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible. Event sponsorships are also available.
