If all this snow has gotten you down, Lauren Palladino’s photo might just cheer you up. Palladino’s photo of two margaritas won the Roslyn and Huntington Mexican restaurant’s “Share The Love Contest” in January.
The contest, launched in July by Besito Mexican Kitchen and Agave Lounge, invites guests to share a photo via Twitter, Facebook and other social networks that expresses what they love about Besito.
The rest is up to the public, who vote on their favorites.
Palladino’s photo, titled “Sunday Funday,” taken at the Besito Mexican in Huntington won the competition with 562 votes.
“Besito is my favorite restaurant,” said 27-year-old Palladino. “My favorite drink is the frozen pomegranate margarita—it made me win!”
As the grand prize winner, Palladino will get a free Besito cocktail party for 25.
“For my winning party I am inviting my parents, siblings, boyfriend, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends to celebrate with me,” says Palladino.
Besito gives away a $50 gift card each week to the person who, through a photo taken with a cell phone, shows what they love about Besito.
The Besito Expertos de Felicidad (Happiness Experts) pick the winners “based on multiple complex, scientific Happiness Factors.”
