Suffolk County police are looking for an armed robber who stole prescription drugs from an East Islip pharmacy on Tuesday.

The armed thief entered Country Village Pharmacy on Main Street just before 4 p.m. and demanded prescription drugs, police said. The man ran from the store after employees handed over an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs, police said. Nobody was injured.

The robber was described as a white male with a thin mustache, approximately 25 to 30 years old and around 5-foot-10. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana which covered part of his face, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls are anonymous.
