To coincide with their unit on families, first grade students at Village Elementary recently created colorful timelines of their young lives. Each child brought in a special adult to assist them. There were moms, dads, grandparents, uncles, and siblings to help the children glue pictures and write captions describing such special moments as the first day of kindergarten, first visit from the Tooth Fairy, first dance recital, and so much more. It was an activity that everyone enjoyed. Thanks to first grade teachers Ms. Fenster, Ms. Kaplan, and Ms. Zinnanti for putting together such a fun project.
