Eileen A. Petersen

Eileen Ann Petersen passed away on May 2, at the age of 73, at her home in Albertson.
Eileen was born on March 31, 1941, in Baldwin, the daughter of William and Eileen Muldoon.
She moved to Port Washington in 1955 and graduated from Paul D. Schreiber High School with the class of 1959. She worked for many years as a medical receptionist for Dr. William Wagner in Port Washington.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Nancy Petersen; sister Maryann McMullen and partner Douglas Roach; nephews Kevin and Todd McMullen; niece Kelly Fowler; and her children Adam, Brad, Luke and Erika; longtime devoted partner Edward Knijewski; and dear friend Doris Haragsim.
Eileen was loved and admired by her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church in Port Washington on July 19, at 11:30 a.m.
Private burial will be at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
