A one-car crash early Saturday morning in Brentwood claimed the life of the vehicle’s passenger, Suffolk County police said.
Also, the unidentified driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said.
The passenger was pronounced dead at a local hospital, police said. The victim was not immediately identified.
A police spokeswoman said vehicle crashed into a tree at 5:36 a.m. on Grand Boulevard, near Noble Street.
