A 21-year-old man was fatally hit by a pickup truck in his hometown of Brentwood on Wednesday morning.
Suffolk County police said Carlos Magana was walking on Wicks Road when he was struck by a northbound Dodge Ram at 5 a.m.
The victim was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead. The driver was not injured.
Third Squad detectives impounded the vehicle, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information on the crash to call them at 631-854-8352.
