Shirley Man Killed in SUV Crash

A 57-year-old man was killed when he crashed his SUV in his hometown of Shirley on Wednesday afternoon.

Suffolk County police said Edward Korianski was driving a Chrysler Aspen southbound on Margin Drive West when he lost control of his truck and struck a tree at 2:35 p.m.

The victim was taken to Brookhaven memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Seventh Squad detectives impounded the vehicle and are continuing the investigation.
