LaunchPad LI’s new Project Facility had its grand opening in Great Neck. This incubator will help start-up and early-stage companies as well as house entrepreneurs in a creative and educational environment.

LaunchPad, cofounded by CEO Andrew Hazen in 2012, is a technology-based incubator that will result in the creation of 50 full-time jobs and generate more than $12 million in economic impact to the community, with more than $90,000 in net tax benefits. Since its start, LaunchPad has become home to more than 30 companies, received Vision Long Island’s Mixed Uses Award, hosted more than 650 people for the LI Tech Day event and has four locations.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Nassau County Legislator Ellen Birnbaum and Great Neck Plaza Mayor Jean Celender attended the opening.
