Join Landscape ecologist and National Rain Garden Expert Rusty Schmidt, author of the Blue Thumb Guide to Raingardens to learn how and why to build a rain garden on your property! Residents are invited to learn how to beautify their property, address drainage concerns, provide food for birds and pollinators, and protect our bays and estuaries in this 60-90 minute class. Please bring an overhead picture of your property (from Google Earth or Nassau County Land Record viewer).
