A man police described as wearing a “Halloween Joker-type mask” robbed the BP Gas Station located at 325 Jerusalem Ave. in Hicksville on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 2:24 a.m.
The Nassau County Police Department Second Squad detectives said that a male subject approached a 29-year-old male employee working at station, displayed a black handgun and demanded cash from the register. After placing all cash from the register into a black plastic bag himself, the subject then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of US currency, heading north on Jerusalem Avenue. There were no injuries reported.
