Floral Park Model UN goes to Williamsburg

Floral Park Memorial’s Model United Nations team recently traveled to Williamsburg, Virginia to compete at the College of William and Mary’s Model UN Conference.

Floral Park Memorial High School’s Model United Nations team recently traveled to Williamsburg, Virginia to compete at the College of William and Mary’s Model UN Conference. Representing Libya, Floral Park delegates debated and wrote resolutions for issues such as equal pay, the refugee crisis and climate change.

“The conference was very well planned,” said Sophia Ramcharitar. “I definitely learned a lot.”
Anna Burnett and Andrew Haneman won honorable mention for their participation in the World Health Organization.
