On Tuesday, March 21, both the Village of Roslyn Estates and the Village of Roslyn are holding board of trustee elections. Residents in both villages are pleased with local governance, as there are no opposition candidates for any of the trustee races.
In Roslyn Estates, there are open seats for both the mayor’s position and for the board. Paul Peters is running unopposed for mayor, while Allan Mendels and Brett Auerbach are also running without opposition for the board seats. Seymour Reisman is running unopposed for another term as village justice.
In the Village of Roslyn, John Durkin, Marta Genovese and Sarah Oral all are running unopposed for another term.
