Suffolk County police are investigating an armed home invasion in Mastic where a woman was assaulted, authorities said.

Two men broke into a home on Meadowmere Avenue, where they assaulted a woman and stole unspecified items before fleeing the scene at 5 a.m. Monday, police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries. There were no arrests or descriptions of the suspects.

Seventh Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
