Sweet Callie is definitely in need of a permanent forever home. She is a 9-year-old calico that was surrendered by her owner. Callie is a very sweet and lovable cat that prefers to be the only cat in a household.
This girl craves love and attention from everyone that walks into the shelter. Being uprooted from the home that you have always known is very stressful. Callie would love to get that special love and attention that she was lucky enough to have for 9 years. Callie is up to date on all vaccines and is ready to meet her new family right away!
Mikey and Maggie are a beautiful duo and a bonded pair that are ready to go home with you ASAP. At 12 years young, these two have been bonded since birth and are inseparable. Sadly, they were surrendered to the shelter as their owner could no longer care for them.
Mikey and Maggie are both female Shih-tzus that are hypo-allergenic and housebroken. They weigh 13 pounds each and are in good health. Let’s help Mikey and Maggie find a new home full of love.
If you are interested in adopting Callie or Mikey and Maggie, call 516-677-5784 or visit 150 Miller Pl., Syosset.

It’s not often you meet a Chihuahua Shepherd mix, and 5-year-old Flor is as gorgeous as they come! He is the perfect balance between sugar and spice, eager to please, yet playful and energetic. The dictionary defines the name Flor as pure, charming and courageous. What better qualities could you ask for in your new best friend?
Jackson is a 12-year-old Pug and Beagle mix seeking a family with an active gym membership. A few pounds overweight, this affectionate, gentle boy needs some guidance with diet and exercise so he can participate in all the fun and games life has to offer. Though not a marathoner, he enjoys being out and about, knowing that sometimes slow and steady wins the race. Once you meet Jackson, he’s certain to run away with your heart!
Washington is a sweet adult kitty who loves getting attention. He follows staff around the cattery like a dog looking for them to pet him. Washington likes to play with kitty dancers but spends much of his time looking through the windows to watch the birds or finding a sunny spot to take a nap. Washington is quite a handsome fella who would undoubtedly make a puuurrrfect addition to any home.
Demi is a quiet kitty who loves to bask in the sun or curl up any place cozy and warm. She takes a while to warm up to new people but loves getting treats and getting her chin scratched. She is a very dainty cat who often surprises the staff because she’s so quiet when she moves. She would love to be in a calm home where she can bond closely with her special someone.
For more information about adopting Flor, Jackson, Washington or Demi, contact Little Animal Rescue & Adoption Center at 33 Warner Rd., Huntington, or 631-368-8770.
