This dog is one Foxy momma! Foxy is so special that she was voted as the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter April dog of the month, so her adoption fee is waived! Foxy is almost 9 years old and came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to the owner moving in December 2017. Foxy has been waiting for a second chance since then.

Foxy is a sweet girl who doesn’t deserve to spend another minute in a shelter. She is interested in meeting other dogs but seems a little under-socialized. She is friendly with strangers but can be wary of some people but displayed no issues with anyone near her food or treats at the shelter.

As per her previous owner she is house-trained and crate-trained too. If you are interested in learning more about Foxy, please call the shelter at 516-785-5220, visit them at 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh, or email adoption@tohmail.org

Can You Help Pets4Luv Animal Rescue?

Pets4Luv is heartbroken and scared, they received a court decision last week that gives the new owner of the Source Mall the right to evict them. Pets4Luv now has as little time to get all the remaining animals (approximately 25 cats and 1 dog) adopted and/or in foster care. Pets4Luv desperately needs the public’s help. If you can adopt or foster, please contact Dave or Lori at info@pets4luv.org or call the rescue at 516-832-8200. Please also continue to share their story and help raise the money they need to relocate and rebuild so Pets4Luv can continue to save lives and bring families together. Thank you for your support!
