Bear
Bear

Bear is an extraordinary 2-year-old, extra handsome boy who came to the shelter as a stray in December 2019. Bear is interested in meeting other dogs but likes to stay clear of pushy behavior (who doesn’t?). He also passed his cat test here at the shelter. He displayed some discomfort with people near his food, so he is looking for a home with children 15 and older. Bear enjoys attention from people and loves treats. Smarter than the average bear, Bear also knows the commands “sit,” “paw,” and “drop.”  Bear is slightly nervous here the shelter and would truly thrive in a home of his own. If you are interested in adopting Maximus, please call for more information at 516-785-5220, visit him at 3320 Beltagh Avenue, Wantagh or email adoption@tohmail.org
