The Paramount to Reopen With The Beach Boys, Kevin James, And More

Are you clamoring to see a live show now that concerts are back? From big name acts to impressive tribute shows, The Paramount is a great place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some music or comedy.

The safety and well-being of all customers, staff, and performers is still a top priority for The Paramount, the staff at the Huntington venue says. “The entire venue will continue to be cleaned and disinfected leading up to our reopening,” reads a message from The Paramount posted on its website. Below is our guide to the August and September events at this top Long Island venue.

JIM BREUER

After two rescheduled dates, this New York-bred comedian is finally taking the stage and will be sure to have you hooked with his fun, F-word free comedy. All tickets purchased for previous dates are valid for the new date. $29.50-$175. 8 p.m. Aug 20 & 21. 

1964 THE TRIBUTE

Time travel back in time with this Beatles tribute! With over 20 years of performing, this tribute recreates the unique magic The Beatles brought to the stage in the 60s.  $20-$90. 8 p.m. Aug 25. 

THE BEACH BOYS

This American rock band from the 60s is one of the most commercially successful bands of all time, but their success lies in their energy and hit songs that forever changed the music scene. $117-$328. 7:30 p.m. Aug 26.

KEVIN JAMES

Returning to Long Island where he started, this actor, comedian, and producer has starred in hit comedies like Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Zookeeper, and is guaranteed to have you laughing the whole time. $69.50-$99.50. 7:30 p.m. Aug 28 & 29. 

FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER GOES SYMPHONY WITH THE N.Y. BEE GEES

This Bee Gees tribute is quickly becoming one of the most exciting shows as they tour nationwide and the band includes some of Long Island’s most talented players. $20-$35. 8 p.m. Sep 3. 

STAR BOXING

Joe DeGuardia’s “Rockin Fights” series at the Paramount features some of the biggest stars and brings unrivaled energy and action-packed professional fighting to the venue. $50-$200. 7:30 p.m. Sep 4. 

VOYAGE – THE ULTIMATE JOURNEY TRIBUTE BAND FEATURING HUGO

With impressive accuracy, this tribute band brings Journey back to life on stage! The singer leaves fans in awe with his striking similarities to Steve Perry and will make you feel like you’re back in the 80s era. $15-$85. 8 p.m. Sep 10.

FOGHAT

With intense live shows and incredible energy, this English rock band is timeless and will have people of all ages rocking along with them. $20-$115. 8 p.m. Sep. 11.

P.O.D

With eight studio albums, many chart-topping hits, and three Grammy award nominations, you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to see this American metal band live. $20-$130. 7 p.m. Sep. 15.

TYLER FARR

Since his debut album release in 2013, this Nashville country artist has been at the top of the Billboard charts and is known for his energetic live shows. $20-$55. 8 p.m. Sep. 16.

GEORGE THOROGOOD & THE DESTROYERS

This blues-based rock band has been dominating rock ‘n’ roll since 1975. With over 8000 live shows under their belt, this 45 years of rock tour will prove to be a great time and show you why they’re unstoppable. $35-$175. 8 p.m. Sep. 23.

MIKE DELGUIDICE & BIG SHOT – CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF BILLY JOEL

Taking a break from performing at Madison Square Garden, this tribute band is returning to their Long Island home! All the musicians are active touring members with Billy Joel himself, so you know the show will be amazing. $20-$50. 8 p.m. Sep. 24.

A JIM MORRISON CELEBRATION FEATURING: WILD CHILD

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Doors album L.A. Woman along with other popular hits at this tribute show! $15-$30. 8 p.m. Sep. 25.

JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS

Considered one of the best and most influential female vocalists, she is best known for her role as the leader of this rock band and the music has become a staple in mainstream culture. Her influence extends beyond just her music as she continues to give voices to new bands through her independent record label. $79-$275. 8 p.m. Sep. 28. 

BACK TO THE EIGHTIES SHOW WITH JESSIE’S GIRL

Throw on your spandex, leg warmers, and neon and join the crowd in celebrating the eighties with musicians and performers from Jessie’s Girl. $15-$79. 8 p.m. Sep. 30.
