The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) will host its first Happy Holidays Afternoon Concert on Friday, Dec. 23 from 12:30 to 4 p.m.

Since opening on Nov. 25, the Stony Brook museum has offered a variety of live performances. For its inaugural afternoon holiday concert, LIMEHOF will welcome two acts: Pete Mancini and the Hillside Airmen and Rorie Kelly, who will each perform for an hour in the Exhibition Hall.

“We are thrilled at the public response to the Hall of Fame, as thousands of people have visited us since our opening last month and many have become members,” said LIMEHOF Chairman Ernie Canadeo. “There is an events calendar on our website that shows upcoming performances and other events, and we have exciting plans to expand our performances and on-site events next year. We are thankful to the local artists who have performed, and the Holiday Concert is a celebration of Long Island’s local performers and a thank you to our guests.”

The holiday concert is free with admission to the Hall of Fame. Tickets are $19.50 for adults, $17 for seniors and veterans, $15 for students with a student ID, and free for children ages 12 and under. LIMEHOF tickets and gift cards can be purchased on its website, limusichalloffame.org.

LIMEHOF was founded in 2004 and only recently opened its brick-and-mortar home at 97 Main St. in Stony Brook. The 8,800-square-foot space features the Exhibition Hall, the Hall of Fame museum, a theater, and a performance space. The organization has inducted more than 120 artists since its inception who are now recognized in the museum.
