Catherine and Rum Tum

**Double Adoption and Senior Request** Rum Tum Tugger (Adoption #H210443) isn’t a very curious cat. In fact, he’s quite content to cuddle with his favorite sibling Catherine the Great (Adoption #H210441). These bonded senior tabbies arrived at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center to begin a new life after they lost their home and owner last year. They’ve lived their whole lives swapping cuddles together, and we intend for them to spend the rest of their lives side by side.

Catherine has leaned heavily on Rum Tum for support as she slowly acclimates to life away from the familiar. Rum Tum is loyal to a fault and barely leaves Catherine’s side, but his deep love of treats makes him very easy to win over! These wonderful 10-year-old seniors would love a peaceful, predictable home (no young children) with adults experienced in nurturing tender feline souls.

Mohawk and Oneonta
Mohawk and Oneonta

**Double Adoption and Senior Request** Special 9-year-old senior Oneonta (Adoption #BF2530) spent her entire life surrounded by a large clowder of male cats. Through all the ups and downs, it’s been her lifelong friend, 11-year-old Mohawk (Adoption #BF2526), who she’s depended on to help her feel safe.

Animal League America promised this fearful pair they have nothing to fret over; they can spend furever together, and they’ll support them as they search for the heroes meant to be their family. They’re seeking adults experienced in boosting the confidence of these tentative friends. If your home offers the security and love they’re seeking, please ask about becoming their hero!

Montauk
Montauk

**Senior Alert** Last year, Animal League America responded to a local emergency situation and discovered 8-year-old Montauk (Adoption #BF2531) and several friends in need of help. They’ve provided this survivor the quietest place to settle into after a lifetime of distress and given him all the time he needed to show his true personality. What they’re discovering is a quiet friend who takes great comfort in his like-minded, laidback feline friends.

Reconsidering his feelings about humans has been a bit of a struggle for Montauk, but each day we see him opening up a little more to the pawsabilities of a life shared with quiet humans who will offer a consistent, predictable, and safe home.

If you have a confident cat at home who would like to share their joyful pet experience with him, Montauk may prove to be a most loyal friend. A home with no children is going to provide him the optimal environment in which to retire.

Betty Grable
Betty Grable

Betty Grable (Adoption #BF4487) doesn’t need a star on the Walk of Fame. She’s more focused on finding her furever family. This iconic 1-year-old stunner has heads turning in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, but she’s holding out for the ideal home (one with kids over six and no other pets, so her star can shine brightly.)

Put the spotlight on Betty center stage and watch her mesmerize you with her impressive head bumps. She’s a superstar in the making; all she needs is the right human to give her the big break (and lots of loving) she’s been missing.

Burke
Burke

Bashful Burke (Adoption #CO0015) was able to work out some of his fears while in his rescuer’s home before joining us in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. This adorable 4-month-old boy can be shy at first, often burying himself in hooded beds with feline friends. Having a feline friend in the home who wants a little one to shadow them would be a delightful fit for him.

A quiet home (with kids over age ten and adults allowing him some time to settle in) would be the ideal setting. If you think Burke would be a great match for your household, he’s left room in his bed for a hand to reach in and rub his ears—a great way to say hello that will lead to a lifetime of gratitude and love.

Sammy
Sammy

Super sweet Sammy (Adoption #CO0016) is quietly watching every visitor to see if they’re the ones who might choose him. How could anyone resist those soulful eyes? Humans have let him down in the past but others here at North Shore Animal League America have come to his aid when he needed them most. Now this quiet four-year-old boy is opening up his heart to the possibilities that the life he deserves is just an eye blink away. Want to be the human who offers Sammy a new start at life as a beloved pet? You’ll be repaid with a very loving, loyal friend!

Southold and Amagansett
Southold and Amagansett

**Double Adoption** Local discoveries Southold (Adoption #H212133) and Amagansett (Adoption #H212134) are carefully weighing their options now that they’re safely hanging out with friends at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. The longer they stick around their new digs, the more optimistic they are about the humans that befriend them.

If two terrific 5-month-old boys sounds purrfect to you, Southold and Amagansett are ready for the next adventure: your home!  We like to say when you adopt, you save two lives: the animal you take home and the one we now have room to rescue…but if you adopt two kittens together, you’re saving four lives!!  Be an amazing lifesaver and bring these little Long Islanders home with you.

Aquebogue and Cutchogue
Aquebogue and Cutchogue

**Double Adoption** Sweet 5-month-old sisters Aquebogue (Adoption #H212135) and Cutchogue (Adoption #H212136) were recently rescued locally and fostered in a home before joining the Animal League America family. While new situations can be off-putting at first, these lovely little ones have decided it’s more fun to trust the humans than to avoid them! Treats definitely help win them over.

Squidward and CocoPuff
Squidward and CocoPuff

**Double Adoption** Meet the Smithtown Animal Shelter’s Pets of the Week, Squidward and Coco Puff! This pair of sweet 7-year-old Domestic Short Hair brothers lost their home when their dad sadly passed away and their mom became ill. Squidward is a Tuxedo cat, while Coco Puff is a Brown Tabby.

These two are very attached to each other and are a little shy as they adjust to their new lives. Fortunately, they never turn down getting petted and some TLC. They have lived with three other cats before, and we would love for them to stay together in a furrever home. For more information or to meet these sensational siblings, call the shelter today at 631-360-7575.

As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
