Bellport-based Fire News has promoted Niebling to special projects coordinator. She brings with her 30 years in marketing and office administrative experience. In her new role, she will be working on the Suffolk County Bar Association publications, Suffolk Lawyer and the Legal Brief in addition to handling marketing and communications for Fire News.

Dr. Sandeep Mallipattu

Dr. Mallipattu, a professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, was indicted into the American Society for Clinical Investigation. An international organization with more than 3,000 physician-scientist members from all medical specialties, the ASCI is dedicated to the advancement of research that extends understanding of diseases and improves treatment. He is only the 19th SBU faculty member elected to the ASCI, and the first since 2015.

Jefferson’s Ferry, a not-for-profit Life Plan Retirement Community in South Setauket, has elected Darwell to its 10-member board of trustees. She serves as the president and CEO of the Suburban Hospital Alliance of NYS, which represents the interests of public and not-for-profit hospitals in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island.

Jefferson’s Ferry also elected Roberts to its board of trustees. He recently retired as president of Mather Hospital. He also serves on the board of directors of the JTM Foundation and Sights on Health, Inc., where he also serves as secretary of the board.

Sandra Ianotti, SBCM, Long Island Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine

Dr. Sandra Iannotti

Dr. Iannotti, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, has joined Long Island Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Smithtown, a practice in the Stony Brook Medicine Physician Network. She then pursued subspecialty training with a fellowship in sports medicine at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and has been practicing in the Smithtown area for over 20 years.

Jefferson’s Ferry also elected Davidow to its board of trustees. He is the senior and managing partner of the law firm Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern, where he concentrates his practice in elder law, estate planning and special needs. He is a past president and fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a Certified Elder Law Attorney, a designation awarded through the National Elder Law Foundation.

Molloy University in Rockville Centre added Uvena to its board of trustees. She is the Vice President of Consumer and Business Growth Marketing for Altice USA, where she is responsible for leading the new customer acquisition, customer animation, and segment marketing teams targeting residences, small, medium, and enterprise businesses for the Optimum suite of products, including Internet and Mobile.

Molloy College also named Mason to its board of trustees. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, L.L.P. (EY), primarily serving Wealth and Asset Management clients.
