Freaky 5K in Wantagh, hundreds of runners

The John Theissen Children’s Foundation’s celebrated its 15th annual Freaky 5k Race in Wantagh on Oct. 27. Hundreds of residents ran the race dressed in costume.

State Senator Steve Rhoads attended the event to cheer on local runners and thanked the organizers of the event for supporting local children and families.
