Unlock a summer of discovery at the Science Museum of Long Island’s 2025 Science Camp.

At the Science Museum of Long Island, we believe in bringing science to life through hands-on experiences, where campers actively participate and engage with the material.

But it’s not just about science – our camp combines education and entertainment, with a unique blend of hands-on science exploration and classic summer camp fun.

Campers aged 4-12 (with a CIT program for ages 13-15) will embark on engaging science adventures. From conducting captivating chemistry experiments to investigating ecosystems to uncovering the past with real fossils, every day is a new discovery.

Our camp takes place on the 36-acre Leeds Pond Preserve, and Nature itself becomes our classroom and laboratory.

From exploring the beach and streams to learning how to build shelters and make a fire in the woods or getting personal with the museum’s animal ambassadors as you learn all about what makes each of them unique.

Science Museum of Long Island offers children an opportunity to discover, experiment and explore the wonders of science and the natural world.

Inside our classrooms, they enjoy captivating chemistry experiments, mind-boggling physics phenomena, fossils from prehistoric life, and more. All the while, they make lasting friendships and lifelong memories.
