Bio
From March 2023 to present, I have proudly served my community as a member of the Hempstead Town Board.

Prior to my tenure on the Town Council, I represented my hometown as a trustee for the Village of Lynbrook. I work as a paralegal at Ledwith and Atkinson. I also serve as a real estate agent with Pearsall Partners Realty LLC.

I am proud of my many years of volunteer and philanthropic endeavors throughout America’s largest township. I am the founder and chairperson of the Lynbrook Cares Committee, bringing together a group of caring individuals who dedicate their time and energy to
helping people with various tasks in the neighborhood, such as shoveling snow and mowing lawns.

I also serve as a volunteer with the Lynbrook Community Chest, which provides aid to residents experiencing financial hardship.

I currently reside in Lynbrook with my husband, Michael, and two children, Shannon and Aidan.

Statement on why you are running

I am running for re-election because I care deeply about the residents of the Town of Hempstead, and about the future of our community.

People choose to live, work, and raise families here because we continue to provide the highest quality of municipal programs and services – as well as a shared commitment to preserving our excellent quality of life – at the lowest possible cost.

If re-elected, I vow to continue advocating for residents and working with them to ensure a bright future for our children.

What are the top three issues you’re focused on and what will you do to fix them?
1. Taxes – Residents, my own family included, continue to feel the impact of rising prices at the grocery store, the gas station, and in many other everyday services.
However, I am very proud to announce that the Town of Hempstead will be cutting taxes in 2026! The Town spending plan proposed by Supervisor Ferretti, which I support, will reduce the overall tax levy by $5 million.

Supervisor Ferretti and I, along with the entire Hempstead Town Board, have a longstanding commitment and record of service when it comes to holding the line on taxes. I vow to continue this mission, while preserving all of our municipality’s programs and services, in another term.

2. Maintaining parks and infrastructure – Keeping up with roadway projects, pothole repairs, and other infrastructure upgrades is a huge responsibility for the largest town in America – but I take great pride in ensuring the job is done quickly and efficiently.

During my time on the Hempstead Town Board, our government has repaved Town roadways at a pace of 100 miles per year. This is an impressive and very ambitious undertaking, but a necessary one for a municipality that is responsible for more than 1,200 miles of roads.

At the same time, the Town of Hempstead is committed to making enhancements to neighborhood parks, which are important community and family destinations. Just in my district alone, we have built new turf fields, installed new surfaces for dog parks, refurbished ball courts, improved lighting, and so much more.

We are always looking for new ways to improve our parks, and I vow to continue delivering for residents.

3. Keeping Our Community Safe – While other municipalities and political candidates are calling for defunding police departments, the Town of Hempstead continues to work closely with and support local law enforcement agencies like the Nassau County Police Department.

As someone with family on the front lines of policing, I know how hard the men and women in blue work to keep us safe. We must not allow “bail reform” and other criminal-friendly policies to disrupt the lives of law-abiding citizens and put families at risk.

Working with Supervisor Ferretti, along with County Executive Bruce Blakeman and District Attorney Anne Donnelly, we have prosecuted people who have committed acts of hate against Jewish people and other groups in the Town of Hempstead. I will always “back the blue” and support the men and women of law enforcement.
