The Inn at Great Neck, an Art Deco–inspired luxury boutique hotel, will hold its annual tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The tradition, now more than two decades old, marks the official start of the holiday season and brings together neighbors, families and friends for an evening of celebration.

A representative for the Inn said the ceremony reflects its “longstanding commitment to fostering community spirit and creating memorable holiday experiences for residents and visitors alike.”

“We are honored to continue this beautiful tradition that has become such an integral part of our community’s holiday celebrations,” said Nick Horn, general manager of the Inn at Great Neck. “For more than two decades, we’ve opened our doors to welcome our neighbors and friends to celebrate the magic of the holiday season together. This tree lighting ceremony embodies the spirit of community, togetherness and joy that defines both the Inn at Great Neck and this wonderful time of year.”

The event will feature the illumination of the hotel’s holiday tree, creating a display that a representative for the Inn said “captures the elegance and glamour reminiscent of the property’s Jazz Age inspiration.”

Light refreshments will be served, and the Great Neck South choir will lead caroling. The annual tree lighting ceremony is free and open to the public.
