Fourth-grade cadet orchestra members from both Floral Park-Bellerose School and John Lewis Childs School showcased their musical talents from the recent winter concerts for staff, board members and administrators at the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, Jan. 8.
Under the direction of orchestra teacher Michael Caprino, the students performed “5th Avenue Rock,” along with a festive winter mix featuring a compilation of beloved holiday favorites.
The students uniting on stage to perform for the community exemplifies the district’s mission: “Two Schools, One District.”
