Three villages in Great Neck will hold elections on Wednesday, March 18 — the Village of Thomaston, the Village of Kensington and the Village of Saddle Rock.

Polls in all three villages will be open from noon to 9 p.m.

Saddle Rock is the only village holding a contested election. Voting will take place at Village Hall — 18 Masefield Way in Great Neck.

In Saddle Rock, incumbent Mayor Dan Levy, Village Justice Julia Gavriel and trustees Dan Chadow and Alex Kishinevsky were seeking reelection to four-year terms but were disqualified after their petitions were challenged.

The Nassau County Board of Elections found that six of eight pages of petition signatures lacked a witness signature.

Under the Friendly Neighbors Party, Kambiz Akhavan is running for mayor, and Joshua Rabanipour and Kousha Askari are running for trustee.

Current Trustee Robert Kraus, the only incumbent who was not disqualified, is running for mayor under the Together for a Better Saddle Rock slate.

Martine Alter and Vivian Kollenscher are running for trustee under the Concerned Residents of Saddle Rock banner, and Sigalit Sanilevich is running to complete the final two years of a four-year term under the Tree Keeper slate.

Kraus, Alter, Kollenscher, and Sanilevich are campaigning together despite running on separate slates.

No one is registered to run for village justice, so a write-in campaign is expected.

In the Village of Thomaston, incumbents are the only candidates running. Trustee Aaron Halpern and Trustee Jay Chagrin are each running for reelection to two-year terms. Voting will take place from noon to 9 p.m. at Village Hall, 100 E. Shore Road, Great Neck.

In the Village of Kensington, incumbents are also running unopposed. Mayor Jeffrey Greener, Trustee Linda Cheung and Trustee Andrew Bloom are each running for reelection to two-year terms. Village Justice Richard Kestenbaum is also running for another four-year term. Voting will take place from noon to 9 p.m. at Village Hall, 2 Nassau Drive in Great Neck.
