We are very excited that grades 3-7 in the AAA and Majors divisions will get to play in the brand new ballpark at Marino Park on Berry Hill Road thanks to Supervisor Venditto, the Town of Oyster Bay Board plus all TOB officials working on this important project for the kids of our community.
Clinics and evaluations will be held on Jan. 23 and Feb. 6 at the OBHS gym. Tentative time is currently set for 4 to 8 p.m., but is subject to change if we can get an earlier start time – possibly extending time from 2 to 8 p.m. Stay tuned to our website schedule for time slot breakdowns by grade/division.
We typically start the afternoon with Kindergarten for T-ball, then 1st-2nd graders for AA, then 3rd-4th graders for AAA and finish up with the 5th-7th graders for Majors division. Age will supersede grade in order to move players into appropriate division.
All players must be registered online before entering the gym. All 3rd-7th graders for the AAA and Majors divisions must attend evaluation on only one of these days to be eligible to play this season – no exceptions. K-2nd graders may attend clinics both days.
Your company or family (new this year) may contribute to one of the finest and most complete youth baseball and softball programs on Long Island by becoming a sponsor for OBB.
Your company or family name will be displayed at our brand new ball park at Marino Park on Berry Hill Road. In addition, corporate sponsors will also be displayed on our OBB website, have name of business on a team uniform and be mentioned as a supporter of OBB from time to time.
Corporate rates for sponsorships will remain the same for 2010. You may contribute $400 for one year, or your company can take advantage of a multi-year discounted rate of $900 for a three-year sponsorship or $1,250 for a five- year sponsorship.
Family rates will be $100 for one year, or you can take advantage of a multi-year discounted rate of $250 for a three-year sponsorship or $400 for a five-year sponsorship.
You will be able to view the displays at our clinics on Jan. 23 and Feb. 6 at OBHS. Payment may also be made at that time.
