Hicksville Community Tennis 2010 Long Island Regional Championship team, Hicksville Smash, traveled to Schenectady to represent the Long Island Region at the 2010 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Eastern Summer Sectional Championship.
Coached by Steven Abbondondelo and captained by David Engelhardt, the team of Anthony Pastecchi, Scott Jackson, Domenick Evangelista, Danielle LaPierre, Jennifer Carnovale, and Danielle Byrnes, finished a close second in the 18 and under division to Sports Plex BNCTA from Buffalo.
