Hayden Panettiere has a new man and he’s New York Jets wide receiver Scotty McKnight, according to US Weekly.
McKnight, 23, and Panettiere, 21, were photographed leaving their lunch date together at Mel’s Diner in Los Angeles. McKnight had his hands on Panettiere’s shoulders, and the two are very close as they walk away from the restaurant.
Panettiere has been in the news a lot this past month for her love life. She split from her boyfriend of two years, Wladimir Klitschko, a little over a month ago. Last week, Panettiere was spotted getting lunch with McKnight’s teammate Mark Sanchez Memorial Day weekend at the In-n-Out Burger in Laguna Beach, California, which started rumors that two were dating.
The actress cleared up the rumor when she said, “I’m a huge Jets fan and became very good friends with Mark and his buddies. I’ve always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends. I’m into sports so we have a lot in common.”
Panettiere also seems to be into taller guys. Klitschko is 6’6”, towering over his 5’1″ ex-girlfriend. McKnight is a a little bit of a better fit for the actress, at 5’11”.
