CBS President, Nina Tassler said of rumors of Harper’s death ,”I know that’s out there, but I’m not going to confirm or deny that. The mystery is a part of the marketing.”
“As we said, the whole marketing is that all will be revealed on [the premiere] date. Mystery is a part of marketing. It’s going to be a big event and I think the chatter and the conversation and the discussion is part of what the fun might be,” Tassler said.
According to E!, Kutcher will be playing an Internet billionaire named Walden Schmidt (such a pretty name), and he comes in with “a broken heart” and the season premiere will have two-parts.
The new season is set to premiere September 19.
Earlier this year, the world watched as Sheen was “winning,” so much so that he got the boot from CBS. It all started when Sheen ranted on the radio. His outbursts eventually led to CBS canceling the rest of the season of “Two and a Half Men,” and saying sayonara to Sheen.
Later, the actor told CBS, “Everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back and everybody else will be begging me for my job back. That’s how I roll. Defeat is not an option.” He went on to say that CBS, “picked a fight with a warlock,” and that they need to give him a raise and apologize “while licking my feet.”
