The Cellini Italian Feast Roars Into Town Ahead of Irene

With threats of a vicious hurricane swirling around, the Annual Cellini Lodge Festival opened last Wednesday and the entire area was packed.

The configuration was quite different this year because the Michael J. Tully pool was opened (it hadn’t been in the last few years), so the area for the feast had to be scaled down, but it was still fun and the various food dishes were absolutely delicious.  The number of rides remained the same and everyone seemed to have a fantastic time, especially the kids who couldn’t get their fill of the scariest rides.

The feast did not extend the days to Saturday and Sunday, as in the past, due to the impending storm.
