Last night at around 10:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking in New Cassel when he was robbed at gunpoint.
The male victim was walking near Prospect Avenue and Sheridan Street when two men approached him. One was showing a gun and began searching the victim’s pockets. As soon as he had the victim’s wallet, the two fled, according to police. No injuries were reported.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Subject one is described as 5’7” and around 180 lbs. He was reported wearing a blue/green T-shirt and black jeans. Subject two was reported wearing a dark colored New York Yankees baseball cap.
