It’s almost CMA time and today the nominees were announced. The show honors country music’s brightest stars. The 45th Annual CMA Awards is set to air live Wednesday, November 9, at 8 p.m. The awards show will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will co-host the show for the fourth year in a row. According to the Associated Press, Paisley is the reigning CMA entertainer of the year and between the two, have won 19 CMA awards.
Underwood received her sixth nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year Award. She won the same award from 2006 to 2008.

As USA Today points out, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson debuted their duet ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ at last year’s CMA show and this year, the two can be getting an award for it– the hit earned them nominations for Single of the Year and Musical Event of the Year.
