Assemblyman Dan Losquadro (R,C – Shoreham) and Assemblyman Dean Murray (R,C – East Patchogue) would like to thank everyone who participated in last week’s blood and bone-marrow drive at the Coram Fire Department.
More than 40 blood donors participated in the February 11 event, with numerous participants taking part in the bone-marrow screening as well.
The bone-marrow screening will benefit James Fiore, a 14-year-old who has been diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, hypereosinophilic syndrome, and is in desperate need of a bone-marrow transplant.
Assemblymen Losquadro and Murray are sincerely grateful to members of the community for their involvement in the event and for their efforts to help the Fiore family.
