The March issue of the magazine features Walsh, who reveals her nerves posing nude but trusted Shape.
“I was terrified, but I really wanted to do a naked cover — especially with Shape, because the magazine is about loving yourself inside and out,” she said.
In the new issue, the 44-year-old dishes on everything about herself including what type of man really turns her on.
The issue is set to hit newsstands Monday.
Walsh is best known for her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery, the estranged spouse of Dr. McDreamy, Derek Shepherd, played by Patrick Dempsey on the ABC shows Grey’s Anatomy.
The hot doctor proved too much for the show and since 2007, Walsh has starred as Montgomery on the spinoff, Private Practice.
Since snagging a spinoff, Walsh has stayed true to her roots, making several guest appearances on Grey’s Anatomy including in a special musical episode.
The jokes got a little more personal and Walsh brought up his kids in one joke saying, “You know what’s amazing, despite all those years of abusing your lungs, your kidneys, your liver, the only thing you’ve had removed is your kids.”
