A 24-year old man was wounded in a robbery in New Cassel, Nassau County police say.
He was walking when three unknown men wearing dark clothing approached him, one grabbed the victim by his neck and demanded money from him while holding a knife, police say.
The robbers then stole the victim’s cash from his jacket pocket and fled the scene.
The victim refused treatment for a laceration to his right index finger.
