A man robbed a store in New Hyde Park on Saturday.
A white male with blond hair, wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts, entered the Barn store around 6:30 PM, police said.
He grabbed a pack of cigarettes, placed them on the counter and then demanded money from the 20-year-old store employee, according to authorities.
The alleged robber then pushed the clerk away from he register where he took an unknown amount of US currency and fled from the scene police said.
No injuries have been reported.
