Join North Shore Land Alliance and Naturalist Peter Martin for an early fall stroll at Norman J. Bethpage Federal Credit Union partners on the presentation of Sweet Charity. Based on Federico Fellini’s Nights of Cabiria screenplay, it tells the story of Times Square Dance Hall performer Charity Hope Valentine and her romantic ups and downs. Performances until Oct. 28. Miscarriage Support Group

Free Veterinary Lectures

Once a month beginning in September through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners. •Family Support Group, an ongoing support group for those who have family members or other loved ones with mental illness. •Introduction To Chemotherapy, a monthly information session for cancer patients who are beginning chemotherapy treatments. Family members are welcome. Refreshments served. There is also an opportunity to share information with others who may have been through similar situations.
