North Woodmere Home Invasion Probed

Nassau County police are investigating a North Woodmere home invasion on Monday night.

A 22-year-old woman was alone in her Prescott Place home when three men forced their way through her basement door while armed with a shotgun and forced the victim to lie face down on the floor at 10:30 p.m., police said.

One of the assailants pointed the gun at the victim while the other two ransacked the home, stealing electronics, clothing and cash, police said.

The victim was not injured. The trio fled in an unknown direction.

The first suspect was described as a stocky black man, 6-feet, 2-inches tall with big eyes wearing a black mask and red hoodie. The second suspect was described as black man, 5-feet, 6-inches tall wearing all black clothing and a black mask.  The third suspect was described as a slim Hispanic man, 5-feet, 5-inches tall wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
