Register Now For Before And After School Programs

Open registration for the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich’s Before and After School Programs is in progress. These programs are open to all children enrolled in the OB-EN School District. Registration packets will be available at the Boys & Girls Clubhouse at One Pine Hollow Road, Oyster Bay. Registration is by mail and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Spaces are limited so don’t delay.

The registrants of the Before School Program, grades K-6, enjoy a light, healthy breakfast and participate in fun, age-appropriate activities before the start of each school day.  The program begins at 7 a.m., and transportation is provided to Roosevelt and Vernon schools.

The After School Program provides children in grades K-5 with a safe, fun environment with caring staff members and friends. Transportation is provided from Roosevelt and Vernon schools at school dismissal. The program operates Monday-Friday from dismissal time until 6:30 p.m. each day school is in session.

The club also offers a Drop-In Program for member in grades 6 through 12. Students enrolled in the Drop-In Program will be transported from Vernon School or Oyster Bay High School, with the purchase of a Gamesroom Pass. The Senior Gamesroom provides a safe gathering place for youngsters.  The room is equipped with a pool table, foosball table and a large screen T.V. Special events, including game tournaments, movie nights, Friday Night Fun, and more special activities, are scheduled throughout the year.  For Gamesroom pass holders, the hours are: 3-6:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 3-9 p.m. on Fridays.  The club’s After School and Drop-In Programs help give children a safe, exciting, and fun, place to spend their time after school!

Partial scholarships are available for the Before and After School Programs and for Senior Gamesroom Passes. Those interested should complete and submit a scholarship application form and requisite tax returns.
