Nassau County Supreme Court in Mineola was briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after police received a call about a possible bomb threat, police said.
The threat, which was called in at 11:01 a.m., forced court officers to evacuate the building as police searched the facility.
The building was deemed safe shortly later and was reopened to the public at 11:25 a.m., a court spokesman said.
A Nassau County police spokesman said Arson/Bomb Squad responded to the scene.
