Northside Region Reflections Art Contest

Two out of 12 Farmingdale students, entered in the Region Reflections Art Contest, are moving onto compete at the New York State level. If selected, the students will then advance to the National judging round. We are very proud of all our participants and super excited for those advancing to the next round.

The two students advancing to the state level include: Kindergarten student William Herbert, for his musical composition; and third grader Hiram Cowhey, for dance choreography.

Students who participated in the regional competition include: third grader Emily Peteka, fourth grader Andrew Hilton, second grader Antonio Zolfo, second grader Kaitlyn Kayserilioglu, fifth grader Abigail Faber, second grader Charlie Hilton, third grader Kairi Knudsen and fourth grader Stylios Ansley. This year’s Northside Merit winners are: Second graders Lixi Alvarez-Rodriguez and Jordan Welch. These entries were recognized at the school level but did not proceed to region.
