An masked gunman handcuffed a woman while robbing the victim who was working as a manager at a clothing store in Carle Place on Monday morning, Nassau County police said.

The robber walked into Life Uniforms on Old Country Road, pointed a black handgun at the victim and demanded that she open the register at 10:25 a.m., police said.

The gunman stole cash, put it into a blue pillowcase, and then forced the manager into a back room, where he handcuffed her and stole her engagement ring as well as her wedding band, police said.

The suspect also stole her wallet from her pocketbook before he fled through the rear door.

The victim suffered minor contusions to her wrists.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 30s with a medium build, wearing a Navy blue hooded sweatshirt, tan pants, white sneakers and a black ski mask.
