Macy’s Heart Your Park fundraising initiative was the topic of conversation when Councilwoman Anna Kaplan and Parks Commissioner Jennifer Fava visited the Manhasset Macy’s. They spoke to employees about the revitalization of Manhasset Valley Park.
“I am so pleased to be a part of this partnership,” said Kaplan. “With your help, we now have the potential to add to and enhance the outstanding amenities this park already offers.”
The program which runs until March 31, allows customers at the Manhasset Macy’s to donate $1 or more at the register, with 100 percent of the donations benefiting Manhasset Valley Park. Macy’s will match the total customer donation across all stores, dollar for dollar, up to $250,000 in total.
