The SCA’s Scholastic Book Fairs at Munsey Park and Shelter Rock Elementary Schools turned into a giant fiesta this year, as each school’s library was transformed into a festive, colorful space filled with fantastic books, posters and knick-knacks for kids to buy.
Held during the week of March 3-7, the annual fund-raising event not only allowed students to have access during the school day to some of the hottest books available, it was also opened up to the public on each schools’ Family Night and at their Preschool Events. A huge thanks goes out to each school’s Book Fair Chairs: Cathy Conniff and Sharon Messina at Munsey Park and Christine Monteroso and Liz Blaney at Shelter Rock. Ole!
